Cetrizine 5mg, Paracetamol 500 mg, Phenylpropanolamine Hydrochloride 25 mg Tablets

5-ZINE-P TAB is a combination of four medicines: Paracetamol, Phenylpropanolamine, Cetirizine that are used in the treatment of common cold symptoms.

Common colds are the most common problem that may occur to a person. It is also called nasopharyngitis and coryza, the infection is caused by rhinoviruses and is viral by origin. It is also known as the infection of the upper respiratory tract and the common symptoms are fever, runny nose, sore throat, and cough.

Paracetamol is a pain reliever and fever reduction that works by stopping the release of certain chemical signals that causes fever and pain. Phenylpropanolamine is known as a sympathomimetic agonist. It reduces blood vessels in the nose to ease congestion. Cetirizine comes to the antiallergic class that helps in the allergy symptoms like watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, sneezing, hives, and itching.
